Concordia’s Graduate Students’ Association v. the Canadian Federation of Students (April 2010 referendum)

In January 2013, the Concordia Student Union council voted in favour of directing its legal counsel to propose the merger of this case with the Concordia University Graduate Students’ Association’s case against the Canadian Federation of Students. On January 18, 2013, legal counsel for both student associations introduced a motion for joinder of actions [French only] to request that the cases be combined. In the end, Justice Julien Lanctôt endorsed the motion [French only].
