Finally some mainstream media coverage of this crap. Hopefully, there's more where that came from. I hope the CFS puppet masters are shaking in their boots...
i only wonder who the anonymous individual is. goes to show you the kind of fear that cfs tactics can instill in people though.
I am interested that no one has interviewed the CFS BC folks as they were mentioned in the story. I wonder whether there will be significant interest for a follow up story--this was pretty darn prime time!
Also, I am concerned about the repercussions for other unions--I think this is a case of the regulations re student union audits working well, however, it could easily be used as a case to show student unions shouldn't be able to established auto-dues check off, which would be a real loss to many campusses (a la the Australian news reported on this site a few months ago).
